Lapse is built so that it does not need to know who you are.
The tickets you add (merchant, amount, expiry date, label, optional link), your rescued total, and your settings. All of it is stored on your device only. There is no Lapse account, no server and no sync.
If you allow it, Lapse schedules local reminders on your device before a ticket expires. These are generated on the device and never pass through a server.
Lapse Plus is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. To verify the purchase and restore it on a new device, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and Apple's purchase receipt. It does not receive your name, email or ticket data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The Found money section links to unclaimed.org and missingmoney.com, official programs run by state governments and their association. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Lapse is not affiliated with any state program and never files claims or handles funds.
Tap Start over in the app footer, or delete the app. Both remove everything.
